Switching from Commercial Foods

Most veterinarians advocate a gradual switch from one food to another to allow the canine GI tract time to adjust to new formulas.

Although Furoshnikov's customers report few concerns when switching their dogs from commercial food to Furoshnikov's real food, we do recommend following these general guidelines:

• Begin by mixing small amounts of Furoshnikov's with your commercial food, and gradually increase the amount until you are feeding all Furoshnikov's.
• Make the transition over a 5-7 day period.
